Financial/Credit Counseling
Memorial Employee Assistance Services has a financial/credit counseling program that focuses on educating you about wise money management and responsible credit use. The goal is to resolve financial distress and assist you in creating and achieving financial goals. Consultants are knowledgeable about a wide range of financial topics; many specialize in specific areas of credit and finance to best assist you in handling more complex issues.
Any MEAS member with financial difficulties is provided a free consultation with a credit counselor who provides assistance in budget planning, debt reduction, and loan consolidation. Our credit counseling program is accredited by the National Foundation for Consumer Credit.
To access this service, you and your family members (spouse and eligible dependent children) can contact an EAP counselor 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 888-817-8989.
